Seasonal SpecialsIt's March...spring is just around the corner and the sweet blooms of crocus and daffodils are popping up in yards all over town. Let's hope they are telling us that a warm and mild spring is on our doorstep. Take the time to stroll around the garden on warm sunny days to enjoy buds swelling and early perennials and bulbs breaking ground. On a warm day, pick up twigs and branches that fell over winter, trim back grasses and perennials and if needed, add a dose of organic fertilizer, like 'Plant-tone' to the garden. Check out our 'In The Garden' page for other helpful garden tips for spring. Soon the early season perennials will be arriving so you can fill in any empty spots in the garden. Orchids - one of our favorite plants Thanks to everyone who came out in February for our 2nd Annual Orchid Fiesta Our fine selection of orchids was snatched up in a short time, gone home to brighten many homes on the shore. All attendees learned a lot, we repotted many orchid plants and diagnosed some very interesting cultural problems. gardenART receives new shipments of orchids regularly, check in frequently to be there when the next delivery arrives!
